Dalek Empire 4 Trailer
Michael Vick has found Jesus
Why does suddenly finding Jesus (hiding in the garage) make things so much better.
Am I supposed to think, "oh well yeah he was torturing dogs, but now he has found Jesus (watching TV in your Den) , so he must be a wonderful man."
Sigh...thing 4,325 that I don't get about Christianity and their mysteriously disappearing Messiah.

Doctor Who: The Man in the Brown Suit?
This is the descrition for an Agatha Christie novel from 1924. The title of that novel:
Now who else do we know who wears a brown suit and claims to be a doctor...hmm..
We know that Agatha Christie is appearing in season 4 of Doctor Who. Are they doing a quasi adaptation?

Comics reviews!!! (flashback part 1)
Getting better...getting better...almost getting up to 52 levels. The one real problem that I had with this issue is that Jimmy Olsen seems to have aged backwards 5 or so years.

Green Lantern Corps 14:
Pure Distilled Awesomeness. Natu vs Sinestro. Patrick Gleeson art. Does loose one because Moose isn't doing the coloring for the issue and thus the green looses a bit of its sheen.

Green Lantern 22:
Reasons this issue is not as awesome as previous parts of the Sinestro Corps War: Only a small cameo from Natu, Don't hear much from Kyle (only Parallax), no Guy or Kilowog, Hal Jordan still not acting like the "Greatest Green Lantern", but keeps on acting like a silly putz.
Reasons why this issue did have awesomeness: We are not being bonked over the head with tales about how awesome Hal is, Guardians scheming, "Heh. Stupid Earth", since the Anti-Monitor seems to be a hologram and not the actual guy... where is it broadcasting from? Green Lanterns showing up en mass to bail out Hal. All in all a good issue, but I am really look forward to the GL Corps issues more than the GL issues(except for the bits in GL with Kyle in them).
All in all...

Batman 667:
On the one hand, oOo pretty. On the other, did we really need a return to the club of heroes. It might have made as much sense as anything else in the campy era of Batman, but in the modern era, it makes very little sense for the Club of Heroes to have existed. (now i have read some reviews is can sort of see what is going on...eh...)Oh and is Morrison laughing at the whole Red Arrow thing with Little Raven trying to rename himself Raven Red?

Metal Men 1:
Sigh...so fun. This is the sort of title that DC should put out more. It is plain unadulterated fun, and is something that can be enjoyed by kids and adults. Also it would make a great cartoon. Pixar should make a Metal Men movie.

It looks ok from in here
Looking out of the window at my desk at work right now it is a very overcast and grey day and since I have the AC on right next to me it is also chilly (outside it is in the 90's). Oh and the lights aren't really on in here.
Dark, Overcast, and chilly...mmmm...if only I had a book and could just curl up...

AS Stands for American Samoa...Not Alaska
I went and called the number that I thought went to Alaska and found out..3 minutes into the call that I was, in fact speaking to someone in American Samoa.
It was 7am local time...sigh...
What the hell?
A couple of interesting things.
Firstly my blog is now on the first page when you google Feveral Seizures.
I hope the people who have found my blog that way have found useful what you found here. Plus if anyone has any questions about it, feel free to contact me.
Second who in G_d's name does a google search for: "july 22, 2007 my birthday my sister was murdered"...and did they find what they were looking for on my blog?

Something awesome for Sunday
For those who are unsure that it is not a shot of the modern legion you can tell for two reasons.
1) The costumes. The design of those costumes admittedly first showed up with the SW6 Legion ( and if you don't know who they are don't worry, it is to much of a headache to ever be mentioned again), but they are at core, the costumes of the Post Boot Legion. Also only with these costumes that you got pouches and have since left.
Know I know that the picture that I have been writing about is probably a left over image from Manapul's portfolio. But a man can hope, and maybe we will see the Post-boot Legion back to kick ass and take names.

Israeli researchers have developed a time machine?
"NETANYA, Israel — Researchers at the Technion University (Haifa, Israel) claim they have developed a theoretical model of a time machine that, in the distant future, could enable future generations to travel into the past.
The team's findings were published in the latest issue of Physical Review.
"In order to travel back in time, the spacetime structure must be engineered appropriately," explains Professor Amos Ori of the Technion's Faculty of Physics. "This is what Einstein's theory of general relativity deals with. It says that spacetime can be flat. That is " it has a trivial, simple structure. But it can also be curved with various configurations." "
...
""The machine is spacetime itself," Prof. Ori explains. "Today, if we were to create a time machine " an area with a warp like this in space that would enable time lines to close on themselves " it might enable future generations to return to visit our time. We, apparently, cannot return to previous ages because our predecessors did not create this infrastructure for us.""

Crisis of Infinite Jay Garricks
I have mentioned this from time to time, but, like the awesome Phantom Stranger appearance in Hellblazer that no-one believed, I though it would be best to show this so that I can at least tell people to go to my log and check it out there.
In Infinite Crisis 4, all of the Speedsters graped Super-emo Prime and pulled him into an alternate dimension. This scene from The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #6, shows all of them together right after Super-emo Prime had escaped. As you can see there is a younger Jay Garrick there wearing a black tunic.
But in 52 #52 we see a shot of a new Earth 2 And who is there in the corner?
Another version of Jay, wearing a similar black tunic that we see some 6 months earlier in The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #6. Admittedly the Tunic is of a different design, with the lightning bold beginning over his shoulder as opposed to at his waist. But artists have been known to mix up stuff in the past.
So the question remains.
Are these two the same guy?
If they are then Max and Barry are sitting on Earth 2. If not, where did the Flash family end up, since there would be no reason for Jay to be there, unless he was native to what ever world/dimension Super-emo Prime was pushed into. Plus, if they are not from the same earth, does that mean that we have at least three good Jay Garrick's out there?

Betty Boop was a Orthodox Jew?
Yes...in fact it seems, as we can see from this, the first Betty Boop cartoon, Ms. Boop did in fact have seemingly orthodox Jewish parents. I may start calling some of my former Orthodox friends Betty...
